Amanda Crockett is an actor, acrobat, clown, choreographer and coach. Her career began at age 9, clowning alongside her father. She fell in love with the way he connected with the audience and made people laugh, and wanted to do the same. Since then, she created a performed a lead character role for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, premiered her solo show in Colombia, won an Audience Choice Award for her comedy trapeze act in Germany, taught kids in the Arctic Circle, arrived onstage by horse-drawn carriage in North Dakota, performed for school children in Botswana and had the legendary Carlos Santana tell her how much he loved her work.

Crockett is a graduate of the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theater, a NASM certified personal trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist and has trained at the Celebration Barn Theater, Acting Studio Chicago and with circus coaches in San Francisco, Chicago and Australia.

She has been called a "clown jewel" in Shanghai, “immensely gifted” in Chicago,  "unceasingly amusing [and] impressively daring" in St. Louis and a “virtuoso” by clown luminary Avner the Eccentric.

After so many years running around the world, Crockett happily makes her home in Chicago. She's incredibly grateful for all she's been able to do, and she's only just getting started. Big things are coming, so stay tuned.

"Watching you, it's like you're doing everything for the first time...I love it!"

- Carlos Santana
